Don’t forget to check with your employer regarding their matching gift program. You may be able to double the impact of your gift!

Gifts in Memory or in Honor of a Friend or Family Member

Contributions to City Kids Wilderness Project can be made in memory of a loved one or in honor of a birthday, anniversary or special occasion of a family member or friend. If your gift is a tribute to someone, please include a note telling us the name of the individual, who we should send an acknowledgment to, their mailing address and the occasion commemorated.

Gifts of Securities

Gifts of securities are a great way to support City Kids of DC. You may contribute publicly traded stock in a corporation, shares in a mutual fund and bonds. Please contact your tax advisor to determine the value of your tax-deductible contribution. Your broker may transfer securities directly to City Kids Wilderness Project. In-kind Gifts

Gifts of assets such as art, jewelry, antiques, automobiles, furniture, boats and other items that may be of use to City Kids or may benefit the program through resale may be donated. Please consult with your tax advisor regarding IRS regulations for recording and reporting. In many instances, a professional appraisal may be necessary to value the item to be donated.

Please consider a donation of your professional skills to City Kids. Many possibilities exist either on-site or from afar. Tell us what you're interested in contributing. Please take a look at our Wish List of new or almost new items that are needed for programs.
