Director of Strategy & Operations

Melanie joined City Kids Wilderness Project in 2024 as the Director of Strategy & Operations. She’s spent her career thus far serving in youth and community centered non-profits, and is passionate about improving social-emotional outcomes for youth, strengthening data-driven programs, and making organization operations work more efficiently. Melanie holds a Masters in Educational Leadership, Politics, and Advocacy from NYU and a Bachelor’s degree from College of Charleston. In her free time, Melanie loves to read, hike, and explore the DMV with her friends and family.
