Victor Medina

Ranger & Mountaineer Program Manager

Victor Comes to us from Groundwork Hudson Valley where he worked to inspire youth to take on conservation challenges and cultivate a relationship with the natural spaces in their communities. His passion for the outdoors developed through a Youth Program with the Nature Conservancy that would change his understanding and relationship with natural wilderness spaces. Since then Victor’s travel has taken him from the concrete jungle of New York City, to the icy peaks of the Andes, and open waters of the Galapagos Islands. As Program Manager for the Rangers and Mountaineers, Victor hopes to provide transformative experience to DC Youth through immersive experiences that challenge our youth to grow, work as a team and become the leaders of the future. Victor holds a B.A in Geography, Globalization, and Urban Studies and Planning and a certificate in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) from the University of Albany, and a certificate in Community Leadership and Social Change from Tisch College at Tufts University.
