That’s a wrap on our final applicant overnight of the season! 🏕️ We’re one step closer to welcoming the City Kids Class of 2031—a new group of adventurers ready to begin their seven-year journey with us, starting this summer in Wyoming.

⛴️ Took the ferry to Bull’s Island (wildlife sightings = off the charts)

Our Junior Camp Leaders spent spring break backpacking through Shenandoah National Park—building leadership skills, deepening friendships, and soaking in the beauty of spring one step at a time. 🌿

This summer, they’ll head to Wyoming to serve as mentors and role models for younger campers, helping guide adventures in the Tetons and beyond. As we get ready to celebrate #NationalParkWeek, we’re grateful for the wild places that help young leaders grow.

More incredible moments from our weekend at Mason Neck State Park! 🌿🏕️ Our Mountaineers put their backcountry skills to the test, tackling everything from pack organization and campsite setup to water purification and wilderness hygiene—all through teamwork and determination. It was inspiring to see leadership emerge as responsibilities rotated, with each person stepping up to support the group.
