Support City Kids through Old Bill’s Fun Run

The Summit Newsletter

City Kids Tent at Old Bills Fun Run in 2017.

City Kids is proud to join the over 200 nonprofits who are participating in Old Bill’s Fun Run this year. Old Bill’s has always been one of the largest fundraisers each year for City Kids and this year it will be the most crucial fundraising effort in the event’s 24-year history.

While we are not able to gather in person this year at our big tent, we are asking our City Kids community to come together and raise the funds to help our staff stay connected and provide support to the DC youth we serve during these uncertain and challenging times.

Old Bill’s Fun Run is one of the most innovative and successful fundraisers in the nation. In 2019, the event raised $14,381,191 from 4,012 donors. Old Bill’s has brought an astounding $173 million philanthropic dollars to the nonprofits in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Ways to Participate:

  1. Donate to support City Kids through Old Bills and the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole will match your donation. The Giving Season is in effect through September 18 at 5PM MT.
  2. Participate in the Virtual 5K. Share photos and videos on social media, tagging @citykidswildernessproject and @cfjacksonhole adding the hashtags #oldbills2020 #307to202 #ckcommitted. Footage will be compiled into an Old Bill’s 2020 video, which will be broadly distributed during the final week of the Giving Season.
  3. Ring your bell at 10am on Old Bills race day, September 12th, and post your video on social media. Don’t forget to tag @citykidswildernessproject and @cfjacksonhole adding the hashtags #oldbills2020 #307to202 #ckcommitted when you post.
