UPDATED MAY 18th

To Our City Kids Family

This has truly been a strange and scary last two months and we are thankful to have stayed in touch with each other. We continue to follow guidance from our national and local leaders, and our offices will remain closed and in person programming postponed until further notice.

Spring 2020 Program Season Wrap Up

We have made the most of our Spring 2020 Program Season and, while socially distant, youth have maintained their commitment to deepening their connection to City Kids and progressing in the program. Over the last six weeks we have hosted +100 virtual 1:1s, virtual group meetups and parent and alumni outreach.

Summer 2020 Program Season Kick Off

Our Summer 2020 Program Season will launch with a Virtual Program Kick Off and Jet Graduation event on Saturday, June 13thThis summer, City Kids will be offering six weeks of virtual programming opportunities, Monday through Friday, starting Monday, June 15th and ending Friday, July 31st. In addition to camper and JET programming, we will be offering cross-cohort meet ups in an effort to facilitate connections with youth across all age groups.

Program Managers will send out cohort specific schedules in early June and weekly programmatic updates throughout the summer!

Fall 2020 and Beyond

As a continuum program, a missed summer of activities in Wyoming has an impact on the City Kids experience. Based on feedback from youth and internal staff discussions around youth impact, program implementation, design, staff capacity and risk, the decision has been made for all City Kids youth to stay in their current program level rather than progress to the next program level. Youth will still have the opportunity to participate in all seven years of City Kids programming but activities will be adapted to ensure that youth can experience the full CK continuum.

We look forward to remaining in touch. Should you need to connect with any CK staff, please find CK staff contact information can be found here or reach out to the following individuals directly:
